But now after 15 years it come once again in Asia & India is the team which brought it there..and won it after 28 years for its nation again..It's there 2nd world cup trophy..

the final of 2011 World cup played b/w Silanka & India in Wakhenday stadium Mumbai toss coined and Srilanka bat first they made 274 runs and set the target of 275 for the opponent mahela played the class knock and made another century and helped his team to set a compatible total it was the good total to defend because this type of total always becomes typical to chase in big matches just what happened in asia cup final in 2008 they made 273 & and set 274 target and India was of to the flying start and made 60 runs in 8 overs but suddenly after Sehwag exit their  batting line completely collapsed so it was the target which Srilanka can defend but India batting was joy to watch after the early exit of their openers thier middle order was the painful for Srilanka bowling their world class spinner Murali also unable to made them disturb.  when they won in 1983 that time One day was 60 overs in 2007 they won the 20 20 world cup

SHAHID AFRIDI AND ZAHEER KHAN 21 , 21 WICKETS BUT SHAHID AVG WAS 12 AND ZAHEER WAS 18

DILSHAN TOP SCORER WITH OVER 500 RUNS THIS TOURNAMENT..

NOW  in THE CRICKET arena we have the new World champ..it's ok that they won for the second time but after 15 years it come in Asia . and put down the shutters if former World champs Australia ..

This may start the new era of India cricket ..after Sachin retirement may be they will find Sachin in the form of VIRAT kohli another young emerging player ..

India will celebrate this win for next many days ..they will find for sure what mistakes they did in World cup they will try to over come at it because in 2015 may be we will find the new champ but for me they will still remain my favourites..
