it was the 9:40 local time in Pakistan when this voice comes to me that 2012 Pakistan champion of asia i didn't control on my self & bowed infront of ALlah..
after a long span they becomes the champion of asia in 2000 7th june under captaincy of moin khan they did this beating srilanka in finals then in 2012 they beat bangladesh in finals securing the victory by 2 runs
..
june & march luckiest years for pakistan in their history..
21 june 2009..pak won the t20 champion ship
in march 1992 pak won the WORLD cup
IN MARCH 2012 22 pak won the asia cup
on june 7 2000 pak won the asia cup.:)
nobody was expecting this from bangladesh they become the permanent member of Icc IN 1999..consider as minnow in cricketing arena but from no where this minnow turns in to the tough oppoent & qualify for finals...beating india & srilanka in round matches...they were simply outstanding gave Pakistan a tough time in finals lost the final just by 2 runs...
Pakistan batting lit really need some stability there is the news that after asia cup misbah might loose his captaincy it will goes to afridi or hafeez...but misbah shut the mouth of some of his critics by his skill & techniques but he may loose his captaincy in t20's
hafeez is the front line choice for this...because he is consistent with his performance made several comebacks in pakistan team..known as professor .
this may be the beginning of new era for bangladeshi players because they are much improved side then they were ever before.
