Shoiab akhtar the retired Pakistani fast bowler said he will not play in SLPL in july august due to personal reasons...he said his parents are old & he want to give some time to them rather then to be there in cricket action ..
he said he pent 18 years in cricketing world..but now i want to do some other work rather then to be stay out there for more 18 years....he will do some charity works..
Shoaib had announced his retirement from international cricket during the 2011 World Cup and his career ended on the bench as he watched Pakistan lose the semi-final to India. He had been drafted in for the Twenty20 tournament hosted by Sri Lanka Cricket along with other international players such as Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Herschelle Gibbs, Daniel Vettori and Kevin O'Brien.
the SLPL starts from 19 july to 4th august..
